The Quality Assurance Coordinator ensures that all Vumacam projects, installations, and infrastructure adhere to established Quality Assurance (QA) standards and processes. The role involves coordinating QA activities, ensuring compliance with company standards, and maintaining alignment with business objectives. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality outcomes that enhance the effectiveness of Vumacam's solutions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & TASKS)
Implement and maintain QA standards and processes for all infrastructure builds and installations.
Train internal and external teams on quality specifications and sign-off procedures.
Monitor and manage all installations to ensure compliance with planning and business strategy.
Conduct infrastructure build signoffs and compile snag lists for outstanding issues.
Maintain an up-to-date site instruction matrix/register and ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
Coordinate with stakeholders on quality assurance matters, providing timely updates and addressing concerns.
Report and track all quality-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and transparency.
Ensure Pre-Contractor Acceptance Criteria (CAC) and Final CACs meet company standards, completing within 5 working days.
Effectively manage Wayleave closeouts, ensuring timely processing and closure.
Competencies and Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications and experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, or a similar role within the technology, construction, or safety industries.
Experience with project management tools and scheduling would be beneficial.
Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Proven track record in managing team and contractor engagements and resolving quality-related issues.
Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related field would be beneficial.
Skills & Competencies
Civils knowledge is required, with an understanding of infrastructure builds and construction processes.
Strong understanding of QA processes, standards, and tools, particularly in infrastructure projects.
Experience with or a solid understanding of CCTV networks and cameras.
Knowledge of electrical workings, including AC and DC power connections.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail with a strong ability to identify and address quality issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and clients.
Proactive in addressing challenges and implementing effective solutions.
