Do daily bed checks to confirm vacant rooms, outstanding payments, and report housekeeping and maintenance issues
Complete the daily cash up
Assist guests with questions, complaints and requests
Supervise that the maintenance issues are solved by ensuring the maintenance list is completed
Administrate the petty cash
Inspect that the hotel's PMS is working correctly and report any glitches
Supervise the performance of the receptionists
Assist the GM in administrative tasks (invoices, accounting, reports, etc.)
Check-in and check-out guests
Check that all the departures have left the property
Give quotations and make bookings over the phone, at reception or via email
Take card and cash payments. Give the hotel banking details for EFTs.
Organize keys, prepare indemnity forms and any paperwork required
Keep reception organized and clean
Make beds after the housekeeping team has departed
