Job Summary A well-presented, professional Waiter with experience in busy, premium hospitality environments. Minimum Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years waitron experience
- Valid South African ID (no work permits)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Professional table service and guest interaction
- Order taking and upselling
- Food, beverage and menu knowledge
- POS operation and billing accuracy
- Strong communication and people skills
- Efficient service in high-volume environments
- Tray carrying, table clearing and service flow management
- Hygiene, safety and workstation cleanliness
- Teamwork across FOH and BOH
- Delivered friendly, attentive and professional service to all guests
- Took accurate orders and ensured smooth coordination with kitchen and bar
- Managed table setups, service flow and dining room cleanliness
- Operated POS systems and handled cash/card payments accurately
- Assisted with menu explanations, specials and upselling
- Maintained high hygiene standards and ensured a tidy work area
- Supported the FOH team during peak hours and large seatings
- Guest-focused and service-driven
- Calm and efficient during busy shifts
- Reliable, presentable and professional
- Excellent communication and teamwork
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
