We're looking for a detail-oriented Store Development Manager to lead the planning and execution of our store development initiatives. In this role, you will be the key link between our Store Development team and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery across CAD design and Project Management for our stores.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and execution of all store projects (including new stores, revamps, relocations, and closures) ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to standard. Driving the successful rollout of store projects - maximising space utilisation, optimising capital investment, and supporting our broader goals for growth, profitability, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and liaise with Project Manages and CAD Operators.
+ Manage and allocate projects to the Project managers and CAD Operators.
+ Liaise and oversee final drawings of CAD Operators to ensure compliance with Brand specifications. Store design, layout, concept development and execution.
+ Support, implement and maintain the store development plan with timelines which incorporate all store development activities (new build, revamps, enlargements, reductions, relocations, closures and ad hoc projects) and agree on the plan with all stakeholders.
+ Partnering in the design of new brand concepts and/ or concept deviations.
+ Manage the Project management and CAD teams to ensure timeous and efficient completion of projects.
+ Confirm the budget plan received from Properties for the existing or new building planned.
+ Supply approved and final layout to Properties for landlord approval. Manage the store development database for stores.
Store Development team administration and coordination.
Compile and report on the budget for related OPEX expenses and store development expenses.
Stakeholder relationships with various stakeholders both internal and external.

Qualifications
Tertiary qualification with a Degree in 3d Autocad/ Structural design/ Interior Design/ and or Architectural building/design.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
3 to 5 year
s of CAD Design/Planner experience and project management of which at least 2 years should have been in a management capacity.
Project Management experience building Retail stores is essential.
Experience with CAD Designs drawn in Autocad3D and Revit essential.
Negotiations with suppliers, contractors and landlords.
Drafting and AutoCAD Design on plans for stores stores (1-2 years) is essential.
Previous experience in managing small teams of CAD Designers and Project Managers.
Proficiency in the latest Gsuite packages and Advanced Excel in Microsoft packages.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Strong logical thinking and analytical ability with excellent numerical skills and the ability to be accurate and pay attention to detail.
Has a high energy level and is performance-driven and deadline-orientated.
Excellent planning, organising and time management skills.
Ability to remain flexible, function under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude and work performance in a variety of circumstances.
Ability to multi-task to deal with complexities and use initiative to solve problems.
