Site Agent - DelmasJob Title: Site AgentReporting to: Contracts ManagerSalary R 48 000.00Start Date & Duration To start mid September for approximately 10 monthsDuties:Planning and executionRead and understand the scope and duties onsiteObserve specific contract conditionsManage site resources, materials, equipment etc.Maintain site contract programProvide updates to Contract Manager regarding allowables on siteManage site, crew, time, resources, materials within defined parametersRecord additional work required by the clientLiaise and maintain client relationshipsReport weekly on progress and costsAttend Site meetingsHealth and SafetyEnsure that all contractual medicals are done before the commencement of the projectEnsure that Induction has been completed where relevantPromote health and safety and ensure compliance to OHSA ActFinancialProvide feedback on weekly costsProvide measurements and costing details to the Contract ManagerEnsure that all non-budgeted costs are properly identified, classified, well documented and variations are recordedPolicies and proceduresEnsure that crew adheres to all internal and external policies and proceduresQA / QCEnsure adherence to Quality PlanMaintain quality documentationMeet Company standard requirementsMeet Contract Specific requirementsEDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Grade 12A minimum BTech (Civil Engineering) or similarFully proficient in MS OfficeEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:+-5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Site Agent preferably with a Construction Company and experience in building works and mechanical installation.Working knowledge of the Health and SafetyLegislation and application thereof on Site
