Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) and environmental legislation. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports. Facilitate and participate in SHE committee meetings. Monitor and report on workplace hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Provide SHE training, inductions, and awareness programs to employees. Maintain SHE documentation, registers, and records. Drive a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric). SHE Representative certification (compulsory). Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within logistics and construction industry. In-depth knowledge of OHS Act, COIDA, and environmental management systems. Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
