One of Cape Townxe2x80x99s iconic 4* Hotels situated along the Atlantic coastline, is searching for 2 experienced Front of House Managers to join their dynamic team. Salary is a Cost to Company figure to include 6% - Pension & 50% - Medical Insurance. Uniform, Staff Transport home in the evening, Daily staff meal and Performance based Bonus xe2x80x93 December ( Company Discretion ) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide efficient , courteous service to guests whilst operating within company policies and procedures
• Ensures that standards are maintained in all areas in relation to service standards, health, hygiene & safety
• Manages and leads the restaurant team
• Performance management & reviews
• Train, develop & motivate staff
• Complete administrative duties which amongst others, include rosters & all required reporting
• Assist with weekly / monthly stock takes as required
• Ensure a smooth flow of communication between the restaurant and other departments
• Attends to guest complaints promptly and efficiently
• Ensures that cash handling and banking procedures are strictly adhered to
• Performs additional duties as requested by the Resident Manager

• Hotel Diploma and / or equivalent advantageous
• Matric
• Minimum 3 years similar experience in a 5* hotel in F&B
• Previous supervisory skills

• Ability to work in a pressurized environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail, initiative and interpersonal skills
• Excellent co-ordination and organisational skills
• Strong training & development skills
• Customer service orientated
• Computer Literacy xe2x80x93 MS Word , MS Excel and sound knowledge of Micros
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Ability to make appropriate decisions
• Industrial relation skills advantageous
• Presentable, well-spoken individual
• Good knowledge of food & beverages

• Candidates who are already living in the CAPE TOWN AREA will be preferred
