RECEPTIONIST

The purpose of the position is to correspond with local and international guests at the property and to balance the daily revenue report.

Minimum Experience and Qualification Required:

Post matric hotel school qualification would be advantageous 1-2 years' experience in a five-star property Computer literacy Excellent communication skills Good numeracy skills High level of English proficiency Must be motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic Must be a team player, with a positive attitude Must be willing to work shifts Must be able to work under pressure Own transport preferable

Key Performance Objectives:

Handle email requests in a professional and effective manner, Handle guest inquiries in a professional and effective manner: Ensure knowledge of hotel room categories and layout of the property Ensure knowledge of different offerings at the property Resolution of customer complaints. Sense ownership. Management of guest accounts: Pit checks to be done on each shift daily Operate the hotel's Property Management System: OPERA Cloud. Check guest in upon arrival and check them out upon departure, Operate the switchboard and direct calls, Restaurant bookings and hotel reservations, and Liaise effectively between departments.
