Key Responsibilities:
Process prior authorization requests for prescription medications
Communicate with prescribers, insurance companies, and pharmacies
Verify insurance coverage and PA requirements
Document case activity accurately in internal systems
Follow up on outstanding authorizations and resolve delays
Requirements:
Experience in pharmacy operations or medical authorizations
Familiarity with insurance guidelines and medication PA processes
Strong communication and data entry skills
Ability to handle confidential patient information with care
