Nursing Home Prior Authorization (PA) Agent
Overview:
We are hiring a Nursing Home PA Agent to oversee and process authorizations related to long-term care services, equipment, and treatments. The role requires coordination between healthcare facilities, insurers, and care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit and track prior authorization requests for nursing home services Coordinate with facility staff, physicians, and insurance companies Confirm eligibility and PA requirements for residents Maintain detailed documentation and status updates Ensure timely approvals to prevent care interruptions
Requirements:
Experience with nursing home or long-term care authorizations
Understanding of durable medical equipment (DME) and service approvals
Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare processes preferred
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work efficiently within EMR and case management systems
