Role Overview
We're hiring a
Senior Sales Talent Acquisition Partner
with
5+ years of recruiting experience specifically for sales roles
.
This is a
fully remote, contract role
. You will focus on recruiting
full-time remote salespeople
located in:
South Africa
South America
Middle East
Your primary responsibility is to manage the
end-to-end hiring funnel
for sales positions and present only the
best-qualified candidates
to the founder for final interviews.
Key Responsibilities
Attraction & Advertising
Draft clear, compelling
job postings
for a variety of sales positions (closers, SDRs, outbound reps, account executives, etc.).
Set up, manage, and improve
paid / sponsored job campaigns
on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other regional platforms.
Use proactive sourcing (LinkedIn search, outreach, referrals, talent pools) to find strong candidates, not just rely on applicants.
Screening & Evaluation
Review and filter
high volumes of resumes
to quickly identify strong fits.
Conduct
first-stage video or phone interviews
to assess:
Sales track record and type of experience
Communication skills and confidence
English level and ability to work with a US-based team
Use
structured, repeatable interview frameworks
tailored to each sales role.
Assessments & Shortlisting
Coordinate
personality, aptitude, and skills assessments
(including sales simulations or role-plays where needed).
Combine assessment results with your interview insights to identify the
top 3-5 candidates
per role.
Prepare concise
candidate profiles
summarizing:
Key strengths and potential concerns
Compensation expectations
Location and availability/notice period
Pipeline & Process Management
Maintain an organized
candidate pipeline
(simple ATS or tracking sheet).
Schedule and coordinate
final interviews
between shortlisted candidates and the founder.
Conduct
reference checks
when requested.
Provide
weekly status updates
on:
Open roles and priorities
Number of applicants
Candidates at each stage
Offers made and roles filled
Required Experience & Skills
5+ years of recruiting experience
, with a heavy focus on
sales recruitment
.
Proven history of filling
full-time, remote sales roles
(e.g., closers, SDRs, appointment setters, BDRs, AEs).
Experience recruiting in at least one of:
South Africa
South America
Middle East
Hands-on experience with
paid job advertising / sponsored job posts
.
Strong ability to:
Screen efficiently
Run structured interviews
Narrow down a large pool to a small, elite shortlist
Excellent
written and spoken English
.
Highly organized, self-managed, and comfortable owning the
full recruitment process
with minimal oversight.
Reliable internet connection and ability to work with some overlap in
US working hours
.
Nice to Have
Previous experience working directly with
US companies
or founders.
Background in
remote-first environments
.
Some exposure to
HR / People Operations
(onboarding, contracts, documentation).
