Senior International Sales Recruiter (Remote)
(Focus: South Africa, South America, Middle East)
About the Role
We're looking for a
senior, recruiting-heavy HR professional
who specializes in hiring
top-performing sales talent
for fully remote roles.
You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle for sales positions--from attracting candidates with paid ads, to screening, interviewing, assessing, and delivering a tight shortlist of top performers for final interviews with the founder.
This is a
remote, contractor role
with flexible hours, working primarily with candidates in
South Africa, South America, and the Middle East
.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Advertising
Create, post, and manage
job ads
on platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, and other region-specific job boards.
Set up and optimize
paid job campaigns / sponsored job posts
to maximize the flow of qualified applicants.
Proactively source candidates via
LinkedIn, databases, and outreach
for hard-to-fill roles.
Screening & Interviewing
Review
high volumes of resumes
and quickly identify strong sales profiles.
Conduct
initial video/phone screenings
to evaluate:
Sales experience (inbound, outbound, B2B/B2C, etc.)
Communication skills and professionalism
English proficiency and ability to work with a US-based team
Run structured
behavioral and competency-based interviews
tailored to our sales roles.
Assessments & Shortlisting
Coordinate and administer
personality and skills assessments
(sales aptitude, DISC, cognitive, role-play, etc.).
Evaluate assessment results and interview notes to
narrow down to a shortlist
of the strongest candidates.
Present
well-organized candidate summaries
(pros/cons, comp expectations, notice periods, key strengths/red flags) to the founder.
Process & Coordination
Maintain an organized
pipeline / tracking system
(ATS or spreadsheet) for all candidates and stages.
Schedule and coordinate
final interviews
between top candidates and the founder.
Collect and verify
references
when requested.
Help refine
job descriptions, scorecards, and interview questions
over time to improve hiring quality.
Provide simple
weekly reports
: number of applicants, interviews conducted, candidates in pipeline, and hires.
Requirements
and/or hiring across multiple countries or regions.
Demonstrated success
filling full-time roles
(not just freelance/gig roles).
Comfortable running and optimizing
paid job ads / sponsored posts
on platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, or similar.
Strong experience with:
Reviewing large volumes of resumes
Conducting structured interviews
Shortlisting and presenting candidates to hiring managers
Familiarity with
personality and skills assessments
and how to interpret results.
Excellent written and spoken
English
.
Strong organizational skills and ability to
own the process end-to-end
with minimal supervision.
Reliable internet, quiet workspace, and ability to work across time zones aligned with a
US-based business
.
Nice-to-Have
Experience recruiting for
remote-first companies

Experience hiring in
South Africa, South America, or the Middle East
specifically.
Background in
HR/People Ops
(onboarding, contracts, basic compliance) is a plus, but this role is primarily recruitment-focused.
Experience working with founders / small, entrepreneurial companies.
