Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all pastry and baking operations, from concept to plating

  • Manage pastry kitchen staff, including training, development and scheduling
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders and maintain cost control
  • Ensure hygiene and safety standards are upheld to the highest levels
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver seamless service
Requirements:
  • Formal pastry or culinary qualification
  • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a luxury lodge or hotel environment
  • Exceptional plating skills and creativity with flavours and textures
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Passionate about food trends and innovation
