Our client in the Manufacturing Industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ a Customer Account Administrator.

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate / Matric.
  • National Diploma / Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Business, Administration, or a related field (advantageous).
  • Previous experience in customer service or account management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for order processing and customer relationship management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
  • Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Customer Communication:
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing comprehensive information on products, services, and order status.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns with a focus on exceeding expectations.
Record Keeping:
  • Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, transactions, and order details.
  • Update customer accounts with relevant information and changes.
Coordinating with Internal Teams:
  • Liaise with sales, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate special requirements or requests from customers to relevant departments.
Billing and Invoicing:
  • Generate accurate invoices for products or services.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any billing discrepancies.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the customer account administration function.
  • Provide valuable feedback on customer preferences and market trends to enhance overall satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure products meet quality standards before delivery.
  • Address and resolve quality-related issues in collaboration with the quality control team.
Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs and provide innovative solutions.
