A well-established digital and innovation organisation is seeking a skilled Presentations Designer to join its Johannesburg team. This role is a 3 month fixed term contract, hybrid, with the possibility of it becoming permanent.
The successful candidate will be a versatile, creative professional who understands how to pair strong design principles with strategic business storytelling. You'll work across presentations, infographics, data visualisations, and professional documents, ensuring every output is visually polished, brand-aligned, and purpose-driven -- helping clients navigate complexity and embrace change.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Communication & Design
Create high-quality, executive-level PowerPoint presentations and visual toolkits.
Design infographics, frameworks, and transformation maps that communicate complex strategies clearly.
Develop professional document layouts that improve readability and impact.
Maintain visual and brand consistency across all client and internal deliverables.
Refresh and enhance existing materials to improve storytelling and design clarity.
Quality & Brand Standards
Conduct quality checks to ensure all outputs meet high design and accuracy standards.
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, templates, and visual assets.
Strategic Design Approach
Collaborate with teams to understand business objectives and translate them into effective visual communication.
Apply design thinking to create content that engages and inspires action.
Requirements
Essential:
Expert-level Microsoft PowerPoint skills (non-negotiable).
Strong Microsoft Word document layout/design capabilities.
Excellent business writing and English language proficiency.
Experience creating infographics, strategic frameworks, and visual storytelling materials.
Strong knowledge of design principles - typography, colour theory, composition, layout hierarchy.
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
Experience in consulting, professional services, or corporate strategy environments.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design software.
Experience working with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers
