Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Content Services Manager with a strong background in managing large-scale content migrations and leading content management teams. This is a fully remote position based in South Africa, where you will work closely with global teams and stakeholders.


In this position, you will be responsible for delivering content migration and management solutions for our clients. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of content-related tasks while ensuring that content management teams perform effectively and meet service expectations. Acting as the primary connection between clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders, you will ensure clear communication, exceptional outcomes, and ongoing service improvements.

Responsibilities



Lead and oversee content management teams, ensuring workloads are balanced, performance is tracked, and objectives are communicated clearly Plan and execute content migrations, including onboarding processes, workflow definition, KPI establishment, and reporting frameworks within a structured migration model Act as the main escalation point for addressing challenges raised by internal teams or clients Manage service governance, covering everything from resource planning and forecasting to delivery and continuous optimization Deliver regular updates on service performance through detailed reports, reviews, and analyses Champion process improvements, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Collaborate with clients and project teams to align on goals, priorities, and project timelines

Requirements



A minimum of 4 years' experience in content management, with a preference for experience supporting multinational or multi-brand clients Demonstrated success in managing complex content migrations, including platform transitions such as Sitecore to AEM or WordPress to Contentful In-depth understanding of content migration frameworks, tools, and supporting roles Proven ability to manage and develop remote, cross-functional teams, with a focus on leadership and team-building Skilled in creating scalable workflows, process documentation, and performance tracking systems Ability to handle multiple concurrent workstreams and deliver results in high-pressure environments Strong client-facing skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels Highly detail-oriented with a mindset focused on continuous improvement Proficiency in Excel (including formulas and pivot tables), PowerPoint (for workshops and presentations), and Word (for structured templates and documentation)
