Job Summary Our client is based in Pinetown and they specialise in General Civil Engineering work (pipelines and services), Concrete Structures (Reservoirs, Treatment Plants and Pump stations), township development and maintenance services, roads and earthworks. We seek a dynamic and driven Site Agent to join our Operations team. The successful candidate should have the necessary experience to work independently and be fully accountable for his/her contracts. The purpose of this role is the day-to-day onsite management of production, quality, resource management (plant & labour), commercial and contractual management and effective accurate reporting for his/her projects. The successful candidate will need to be familiar and have experience in some or all of the following: Heavy Concrete Structures, Roads and Earthworks, Pipelines, Township services and development and Low-cost housing. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required; Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma Minimum of 10 Years of Industry Experience (6 years as a Site Agent) Must have a Pr.CM and/or Pr.Eng Worked on projects in one or more of the above-mentioned sectors with a value equal to or greater than R100 million. CCS knowledge will be advantageous Computer Literate Microsoft Office Package, Microsoft Projects, CCS Characteristics/ Personal Attributes Influential; Confident; Organized and Deadline driven; Problem solver; Accurate; Diplomatic; Analytical; Accountable; Team Orientated Salary - up to R900 000pa CTC
