Construction Site Agent Klerksdorp, North West R40 000 xe2x80x93 R80 000 a month Permanent, Full-time Leading construction company based in Klerksdorp in need of a Construction Site Agent with a minimum of 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience within this industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all activities on site, overseeing operations of the whole site on a day-to-day basis and that projects come in on time and within budget. Manage and lead the site construction team and the subcontractors during the construction stage of the project. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Project Management: Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities related to the streetlighting project. Ensure the project is executed as per the agreed schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards. Liaise with the project manager and other stakeholders to update on the project's progress and address any issues. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the construction team including contractors, engineers, and laborers. Provide guidance, training, and support to site personnel as necessary. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, local authorities, and other external stakeholders. Attend meetings, provide updates, and address any concerns or queries from stakeholders. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, ensuring that any identified risks are mitigated promptly. Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used in the project. Coordinate with quality control teams and implement corrective actions when required. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate site diaries, logbooks, and other project-related documents. Submit regular progress reports to the higher management. Qualifications National Diploma / B.Tech (Construction Management) / B.Eng (Civil / Electrical Engineering) Minimum 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in streetlighting or similar construction projects Must be Registered with SACPCMP as PrCPM or PrCM or Must be Registered with ECSA as Pr.Eng (Professional Engineer) / Pr.Tech (Professional Technologist) No Registration as a Candidate will be accepted Proven experience as a site agent or similar in working on residential construction sites Valid driverxe2x80x99s licence Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
