Duties:Assist guests with making room reservations via phone, email, or in person.
Check room availability and provide accurate information to guests.
Inform guests about room rates, packages, and special offers.
Maintain excellent relationships with operators and agents.
Ensure expertise on all property info is always maintained.
Enter reservation details into the BENSON accurately and completely.
Communicate with guests to confirm reservations, answer questions, and provide information.
Address booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests, in accordance with policy and procedure
Upsell other properties in the group.
Familiarity with reservation software a must, experience on Benson an advantage.
Maintain accurate and organized reservation records.
Coordinate with hotel departments, to ensure the guest experience is of a high standard.Requirements:Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Hospitality & Tourism preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a central reservations role is essential.
Customer service qualification advantageous.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proven track record of being able to handle guest inquiries, concerns, and unexpected situations.
Availability to work office hours: 08:30 - 16:30 Monday to Friday, with a weekend telephonic standby rotation.
