Job Description
Our client in the Agricultural industry is seeking a well experienced Workshop Manager and Diesel Mechanic candidate to join their fast growing team.
This candidate will be leading Diesel Mechanic, as well as be responsible for Managing the work flow, for both internal and external repairs by all service staff, as well as procurement for all related requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric;
- Computer literate in MS Office;
- Must be a Qualified Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic with at least 8 years experience;
- Must have experience in maintaining Trucks and Trailers.
- Must have experience in Procurement;
- Must have experience in Managing a workshop and staff.
- Hands-on mechanical work as leading Diesel Mechanic
- Administrate the work flow within the workshop and on the field between yourself and staff members;
- Ensure good document control and database capturing;
- Ensure repairs are completed timeously and correctly;
- Manage the workshop staff and ensure full utilisation of available labour resources;
- Ensure ordering of parts (procurement) is carried out effectively;
- Implement and sustain management systems and supply technical feedback and reporting;
- Maintain a high level of safety, discipline and housekeeping in the workshop.
