Job Description


This role provides support on efficient and effective People Services, in line with Service Level Agreements, through the implementation of policies, processes, systems and procedures of a statistical and financial nature. Undertaking generalist tasks associated with Employee Benefits management within the organisation. This role will assist with the implementation and monitoring of action plans and/or programs to ensure the most effective utilisation of human resources to support the business objectives and staff wellbeing.
Minimum Requirements

Relevant Bachelors degree

3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role; demonstrated ability to execute the employee wellbeing strategy and employee benefits strategy; methodology and offering across different organisational levels

Skills & Knowledge required:

Broad understanding of all related legislation, industry and statutory bodies

Understanding of employee wellbeing and benefits market trends, benchmarking and best practice

Exposure in executing an organisational wellbeing agenda

Experience in change management initiatives xe2x80x93 generic and in relation to the introduction of employee wellbeing initiatives

Basic experience working with all employee benefit types, i.e. medical aids, retirement funds, workmens compensation and ad hoc benefits service providers

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of an employee wellbeing and benefit strategy and framework for Pick xe2x80x98n Pay:

Develop and implement employee wellbeing programmes based on business requirements.

Engage in internal stakeholder engagement and relationships:

Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure employee wellbeing and benefits programs/initiatives are proactively addressed and interventions are successfully implemented.

Provide support to ensure that external vendors deliver on agreed service levels agreements and address any deviations.

Develop communication strategies to create awareness with employees on the benefits that they receive.

Support the design of employee wellbeing and benefits methodology and solutions:

Develop / source and/or package a range of quality, fit for purpose wellbeing and benefits solutions that supports the attraction and retention of talent.

Plan, organise and assist with the delivery of a range of employee wellbeing projects.

Provide financial management support:

Assist with tracking the employee wellbeing and benefit budget.

Monitor adherence to budget and suggest corrective action where needed.
