Duties and responsibilities:
You report to the Managing Director
You will have two direct subordinates
You will be on a 6 months' probation before being registered with CIPC as an executive director for this company. Your contract will be renewed and made permanent based on your performance
You are the chief personnel in sponsorship approach
Identify potential donors and otherwise increase the overall visibility of the organisation
Cultivate and sustain relationships with a wide variety of constituencies including current and potential donors, foundations and government sources, local businesses and community partners.
Collaborating with board of directors to create and implement fundraising plan.
Collaborating with communications team to develop digital fundraising strategy.
Furnishing board with regular progress reports.
Collaborating with network to identify and build relationships with new donors.
Obtaining financial support from individuals and organizations.
Generate new ideas that increase revenue and donor loyalty
Plan and operate annual budget.
Work in partnership with the program staff to make certain that all participants in organisation's humanitarian programs receive the highest quality of services through continued enhancement of programmatic excellence.
Identify potential donors and otherwise increase the overall visibility of the organisation

Oversee fundraising efforts and, in time, engage other professional fundraisers in seeking annual, major, campaign and planned gifts.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups.

Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote ideas and services.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: R1,00 - R2,00 per month
Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
