Job Description

Purpose:

The primary role of the MCSM Manager at FLOAM is to manage the organizational social media platforms and promote good will and a positive image of the organization. This portfolio is also responsible for keeping the public informed about the organisational goals, initiatives, and all upcoming events.

Duties and responsibilities:

Secure radio interviews and attend on behalf of the organisation (Marketing strategy)

Assist the departmental manager in developing marketing campaigns and social media campaigns

Update the social media accounts according to the target market needs

Attend corporate presentations with the sponsorship manager to market the organisation

Operate and manage FLOAM's social medias (Facebook page, Instagram, WhatsApp and Linkedin)

Implement FLOAM social media base (New project - tik tok and YouTube channel)

Work with IT to manage the content of the website

Editor in chief for the organisational news letters

Manage all FLOAM public announcement

Also responsible for the FLOAM's enquiries email (info@floamnpc.org.za)

Bringing the brief and concept to life based on the organisation's needs and vision.

Work on multiple briefs at the same time.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups.

Planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public and stockholder views of the organization's agenda and accomplishments.

Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote ideas and services.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to R1,00 per month

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
