We're looking for a
Verification Specialist
who's not just good at paperwork -- but great at communication, proactive follow-up, and keeping things moving smoothly. In this role, you'll be the key player ensuring employment info is verified quickly, accurately, and in full compliance with guidelines.
What you will do as a Verification Specialist
Order Verifications for all assigned borrower files, ensuring compliance with lender and investor guidelines.
Review VOEs for accuracy and completeness, escalating discrepancies when necessary.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employers, third-party vendors, and internal team members.
Maintain accurate records of all VOE requests and follow-ups in the loan file and CRM system.
Proactively track outstanding VOEs and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Collaborate with Coordinators to resolve employment verification issues.
Utilize Microsoft Outlook, and Ring Central for communication and follow-ups, and Adobe
Acrobat for reviewing, editing, and organizing VOE documentation.
Ensure strict confidentiality of borrower information in accordance with company policy and compliance regulations.
Identify potential risks or red flags in employment documentation and bring them to
management's attention promptly.
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
