Junior Verification Specialist

to join the Credit Risk team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays attention to detail and will enjoy a culture based on trust, autonomy and ownership.


The Junior Verification Specialist will:

ensure all required documentation is collected, verified, and aligned with the mandates of purchase order funding, invoice discounting and any other funding products Sourcefin may introduce; and identify and escalate discrepancies in client documentation through designated platforms and personnel; and perform in-depth research and due diligence on prospective clients and end buyers; and conduct checks on company directors and shareholders; and assess risks based on past business dealings and credit history; and ensure compliance with all SARS requirements for funding approval; and identify and escalate potential tax compliance risks; and assess client creditworthiness using prescribed platforms; and review client bank statements for financial viability; and follow up on invoices with end buyers for accurate payments dates and bank details
