My client a Pharmaceutical company is looking to hire a Validation Scientist on a contract basis to assist in the implementation and administration of the Validation Systems i.e., Validation Master Plans which cover Training, Facility, Utility and Equipment Qualification, Process, Bulk Holding, Packaging, Cleaning and Computer System validation activities in support of the manufacture of Consumer Health products in accordance with applicable standards.

pBroad Purpose I Function:

• Data collection and compilation of reports supporting the Continues Process Verification.
• Develops and compiles Protocols and Reports as required and monitors workload schedules to ensure the timeous completion of validation/qualification studies.
• Ensure adequate communication of validation/qualification compliance needs and status to all affected departments.
• Provides support and expertise in cross functional investigations and special investigations to identify root cause of problems.
• Serves as a participant in reviews of the Validation Systems.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Facilitate continuous process improvements, and investigate problems associated with production, engineering, etc.
• Write and Review Validation Protocols and Reports.
• Assist with the execution of Validation Protocols.
• Provide Validation System support to production and QA.
• Perform internal audits in the manufacturing area to ensure quality standards are met continuously.
• Participate in compliance wire training to maintain knowledge of validation and GMP standards,

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:

EDUCATION:

SCHOOL: Grade 12
POST SCHOOL: (Professional Technical/ Academic) A Science related tertiary qualification (BTech/ BSc) in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or applicable qualification.

EXPERIENCE:
Basic understanding of Validation Principles.
Basic understanding of Quality Assurance
Experience in Pharmaceutical environment preferred
