About the Role
Australian Food & Fibre is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at AFF Midkin Farm, located just north of the township of Ashley, NSW. This is a permanent, hands-on role supporting our farming operations through the safe and efficient transport of grain, machinery and equipment.
The role primarily involves grain carting and machinery movements, including the operation of low loaders. Outside the peak transport periods, you may also assist with general farm duties to support day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Carting grain between farm sites, storage facilities and delivery points.
Transport farm machinery using a low loader.
Moving oversized machinery and equipment.
Completing daily vehicle pre-starts and basic maintenance checks.
Assisting with general farm duties when required.
Operating in line with AFF's safety, compliance and fatigue management standards.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
You're a reliable and safety-focused driver who takes pride in operating heavy vehicles professionally. You're flexible, team-oriented and comfortable working in a farming environment where no two days are the same.
TO be successful in this role, you'll bring:
A current MC licence (essential).
Demonstrated experience carting grain.
Experience operating low loaders and transporting machinery.
Experience with oversized loads.
A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Willingness to assist with general farm work as required.
