BWise Logistics is looking for a motivated Truck Driver Assistant to support our drivers with loading, unloading, route assistance, and ensuring deliveries run smoothly. Purpose of this role:



The Truck Assistant is responsible for assisting the Driver in safely loading, securing, transporting, and offloading flooring products and related goods to BWISE customers and depots across the national logistics network. The role ensures that products are handled with care, deliveries are completed on time, and customers receive professional and efficient service in line with BWISE's delivery and brand standards.



Key Responsibilities:



Assist with loading, securing, transporting, and offloading products, ensuring accuracy of delivery documentation and on-time delivery performance.

Support the Driver with pre- and post-trip inspections, route adherence, and safe handling of materials to prevent product damage.

Maintain cleanliness and care of vehicles and equipment, and promptly report any delivery, equipment, or vehicle-related issues.

Engage professionally with customers, verify product counts, resolve basic delivery queries, and obtain accurate PODs.

Provide warehouse and operational support, including stock handling, loading optimisation, and participation in stock counts or audits.


National Senior Certificate / Matric (Maths Literacy and English). Minimum 1-2 years' experience in logistics, delivery, or warehouse operations. Physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials. Basic knowledge of warehouse processes and delivery documentation. Valid forklift or equipment handling certificate (advantageous). * Strong punctuality and reliability record.
