Job Summary

Job description:

  • Managing all aspects of the Academic Portfolio and Deliverables (Training/Lectures/Marketing/Sales and events)
  • Assist across departments as needed
  • Quality control of teaching and learning processes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with different regulatory bodies such as various SETA's, QCTO and DHET
  • Oversee and manage the day to day running of the business
  • Ensure the organogram for the department supports the business outcomes and targets
  • Responsible for the recruitment and supervision of all academic staff
  • Responsible for the implementation of all academic activities, including events, and community engagement
  • Responsible for preparation of external and internal audits
  • Manage system controls and procedures
  • Optimum management of project turn around time
  • Reporting
  • Maintain and grow current clientele to ensure this cost center runs profitably
  • Look at new ways of working to reduce time on tasks or projects
  • Your duties are not limited to the above and adhoc duties may be required from time to time
