Key Responsibilities 1. Training Program Development & Delivery
Design and implement structured onboarding programs for new franchisees and staff.
Facilitate upskilling initiatives for current franchisees and corporate teams.
Standardize training materials to ensure brand consistency across all stores.
Introduce and manage digital/blended learning platforms.
2. Operational Excellence & Brand Standards
Ensure SOPs are consistently trained and executed.
Collaborate with Operations and Quality Control to uphold product and service quality.
Use performance tracking tools and mystery shopper insights to gauge training effectiveness.
3. Product Knowledge & Rollouts
Drive training for new menu items, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
Align product training with the Product Development and Marketing teams.
4. Franchisee Onboarding & Support
Develop robust onboarding programs for new franchisees.
Offer hands-on store training and coaching during franchise launches.
Conduct follow-up visits and performance check-ins post-launch.
5. Training Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
Monitor training effectiveness using assessments and feedback.
Continuously enhance training content and delivery methods.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
6. Team Development & Leadership Coaching
Upskill corporate store managers to become internal trainers.
Collaborate with HR to address skills gaps and design targeted development plans.
Candidate Profile What Were Looking For Must-Haves:
Proven experience in training within the QSR, retail, or food service industry.
Strong grasp of franchise operations and service standards.
Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Proficiency in developing SOPs, training manuals, and e-learning content.
Experience using LMS platforms for digital training delivery.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Skilled in tracking training KPIs and implementing performance improvements.
SETA knowledge, including WSP/ATR submission experience.
Bonus Points For:
Coaching and mentoring experience.
A passion for operational excellence and people development.
Working Conditions
Location: Centurion, Pretoria (Head Office-based)

Candidates must be comfortable working in-store when needed and interacting with teams at all levels.
Experience with training metrics, evaluation methods, and practical coaching is critical.
Exposure to digital learning platforms is a must have.
