Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented person with hands-on experience in stock control and warehousing? We are looking for a proactive individual to join our warehouse team. They will assist the warehouse supervisor with the daily functions of stock movement in and out of the warehouse. Picking, packing. checking and general admin associated with all orders.
Duties & Responsibilities
Accurately count, record, and verify stock received and dispatched in line with company operational procedures and systems.
Ensure all incoming goods are quality inspected, clearly labelled, and stored accurately for efficient retrieval.
Assist in maintaining accurate stock counts by performing cycle counts, bin verification, and labelling. Participate in full stock takes and reconciliations.
Communicate any variances in quantity & quality to the warehouse Supervisor and the Operations manager.
Ensure the correct items are quantities are pulled accurately and timeously, meeting deadlines and ensuring sign-off documents are processed accordingly.
3 Check process to happen at all times.
Check 1: Picker
Check 2: Stock controller or warehouse supervisor.
Check 3: Retail floor merchandise controller or floor manager.
Ensure all stock movements are processed systematically, and all paperwork is filed accordingly on the day.
Daily communication with the warehouse supervisor and Operations manager on expected deliveries & dispatches for the next day
Collaborate effectively with management, peers, and relevant stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Health & Safety
Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times. Stock is moved to the correct warehouse location, and boxes are marked accordingly
Health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Maintain warehouse security so that no unauthorized access is granted to the warehouse at any time.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12
3 - 4 years warehouse experience (Apparel preferred )
Computer literate.
Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory management systems.
Strong numeracy skills..
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to stock discrepancies.
Ability to work under pressure.
Energetic, proactive, and highly organized.
Physically fit, able to perform tasks involving heavy lifting.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Driver's licence.
