Team Leader: Call Centre

Job Description

Minimum Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in a similar team leader or supervisory role within a call centre or collections environment.
  • Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory)
  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages beneficial)
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if needed
  • Basic computer literacy, including MS Office and email.
Experience & Responsibilities
  • Creating and launching call, SMS, and email campaigns.
  • Resolving queries and managing staff performance, including coaching and training.
  • Conducting quality checks on calls and admin output.
  • Supporting ad hoc managerial duties as required.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to handle challenging interactions with clients/debtors.
  • Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
