OVERALL PURPOSE

Our goal is to build one of the most authentic and awesome company cultures out there. To do so, we need to ensure we attract and hire the right people, and that's where talent acquisition comes in.

Reporting to our Head of Talent, we're looking for a Talent Partner to join our team to help us scale rapidly with top performers across a range of functions and seniority. We already have a close-knit Talent team and you'll be collaborating closely with our People Operations Team and Business Partners to achieve shared business goals and objectives.

You'll need to be confident in the role to ensure robust talent pipelines are in place for critical and high volume roles, ensuring recruitment is executed quickly whilst maintaining the highest standards when it comes to candidate selection, as we want to build an exceptional team and a continuous pipeline of top talent!

Main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Talent Sourcing & Acquisition:

  • Maximise our sourcing channels to attract top candidates and position Lula as an Employer of Choice, including elevated exposure on job boards, social media, professional networks, industry events and targeted selection/sourcing.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks to identify the best fit for open roles.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of pre-qualified candidates
  • Ensure that all necessary compliance and background checking processes are meticulously carried out and adhered to at all times.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process when needed, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Talent Management and Development:
  • Work closely with department leaders and our Talent Partners to understand their teams' needs and align talent strategies accordingly.
  • Identify high-potential individuals and create succession plans to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
Employment Engagement and Retention:
  • Collaborate with People Operations and department leaders to develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and stay connected with newly appointed employees during their probationary periods to address concerns, gather feedback, and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Monitor new employee satisfaction, identify trends, and propose action plans to improve overall employee experience.
  • Identify opportunities to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment within supporting department (s).
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze key talent metrics, such as time-to-hire, retention rates, and employee performance, to drive data-informed talent decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on talent acquisition, development, and engagement activities.
Additional:
  • Helping build culture through various initiatives, campaigns and team building activities
  • Assist our wider Talent and People Operations Teams with key events, culture focused activities as and when required
  • Collaborating effectively with the Talent and People Operations Teams to ensure onboarding of new starters and that any new talent coming into our business is set up for success and has a happy start in their new role.
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant HR field or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience working within a recruitment role with exposure to either inhouse or agency recruitment - ideally both but definitely within a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience working effectively with and managing multiple business stakeholders with gravitas and grace
  • Track record of successfully filling vacancies from entry-level through to management level
  • Varied recruitment experience and exposure to multiple roles across different departments
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and best practise for utilisation
  • Passionate about networking and meeting new people
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • All round good-egg with drive for growth and passion for people
