Job Summary Northern Cape QUALIFICATIONS (Essential unless otherwise indicated) Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) in Human Resources / Industrial Psychology (NQF Level 8) EXPERIENCE (Essential unless otherwise indicated) Minimum of five (5) years operational HR Practitioner Generalist (EE, recruitment, Training/HRD, ER, OD/Talent management) Experience in a mining environment Minimum of three (3) years HR management experience in a team leader/ project leader/ supervisor capacity Minimum of two (2) years operational Psychometrist experience (Total of 8 years experience required, of which some can run concurrently) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Functional knowledge and skills SDF facilitator and MQA assessor training OD Practitioner Psychometric assessment skills and knowledge of assessment products Profiling and grading systems Management/Supervisory training Mentor and coaching training Succession planning MQA reporting and grand claiming Coaching System, strategic and organisational development knowledge and skills Ability to design strategies to address specific organisational needs Change management Ability to manage change effectively during OD interventions Policies and procedures Statutory knowledge Working knowledge of EEA Skills development legislation Management skills Planning, organising, coordinating and controlling skills Budget and cost control Supervisory and leadership skills Computer literacy MS Office suite (Intermediate user) HR Management Information system (Basic user) KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: To foster a learning organisation as envisaged by Skills Development legislation, Social and Labour plan commitments, BBBEE/DTI repositioning philosophy and company strategy through facilitated organisational development and talent management processes; To ensure an integrated management between the OD/Talent management function, HRD and the Transformation function; To ensure the development, coordination and implementation of Organisational development and talent programs that align the workforce with key business strategies and initiatives, which includes but not limited to: Talent management Organisational development and design Legal compliance Psychometric assessments People management SHERQ governance and compliance in own area of work Work ethics OTHER REQUIREMENTS (Essential unless otherwise indicated) Medically fit Meet medical fitness standards Drivers license Valid Code 08 / EB drivers license Accreditation and Registration Health Professional Council of SA (HPCSA) South-African Board of Personnel Practitioners (SABPP) (Recommended)
