We are inviting suitable candidates to apply for the Talent and Organisational Development Graduate position within Belgotex's HR department.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the Talent and Organisational Development Officer within the HR department. The role will be reporting to the Talent and Organisational Development Officer.

Role Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Administration, Sourcing and Selection

  • Provide the Talent and OD Officer with administration support to ensure all recruitment requirements are met.
  • Provide reporting support to the Talent and OD Officer (vacancy tracker, time to fill, equity candidate placements, promotions and new hires)
  • Interface with key stakeholders and payroll for new employee take on process, including change of status.
  • Support with publishing of adverts for production wage and contract vacancies on all job boards using the ATS.
  • Publishing of adverts on the Belgotex WhatsApp for Business account.
  • Initial Screening of applicants against advertised minimum requirements with line managers
  • Schedule Interviews with candidates & Line Managers using the ATS.
  • Attend to any queries in relation to vacancies from candidates both on email and telephone.
  • Uphold the candidate experience through appropriate and professional communication with relevant stakeholders and internal/external candidates during the recruitment process.
  • Ensure all shortlisted candidates receive and complete the Candidate Experience Survey once the interview process is complete
  • Assisting Talent and OD Officer with sourcing candidates from various job boards and platforms (Eg: LinkedIn, Belgotex Careers Page)
  • Complete interview packs for interviewers (interview file, competency interview guide, technical questions, CVxe2x80x99s, relevant qualifications).
  • Conduct interviews with line managers for production wage positions.
  • Conduct exit interviews for production wage staff using the online survey tool.
  • Assist with coordination of career fairs at tertiary institutions or online.
  • Coordinate assessments (written or tactile) when necessary for potential candidates.
  • Assist the Talent and OD Officer with regards to conducting background checks for potential candidates (criminal, credential, qualifications, references).
  • Liaise with the Occupational Health Nurse to arrange for entrance/pre-employment medicals for all new hires placed (permanent/contractors).
  • Ensure the necessary take-on documentation required for payroll processing is issued for new employees and is completed comprehensively. (EEA1, new employee take-on form, copy of ID, copy of CV, copy of matric, copy of bank statement, copy of certificates).
  • Responsible for ensuring all relevant personnel documentation of new hires/promoted candidates are saved systematically onto the shared Payroll and Talent folder.
  • Responsible for drafting and receiving signed off for offer of employment letters and contracts of employment (Production wage staff)
  • Draft and distribute extension and termination letters.
  • Assist with minute taking in Transformation Team meetings.
  • Assist with minute taking in Leadership Engagement meeting when required.
  • Assist the IR Specialist as an interpreter during disciplinary hearings when required.
Organisational Development, Employee Engagement and Culture
  • Assist with building, running and analyzing organizational surveys.
  • Assist with reports and presentations relating to surveys and questionnaires to the business and
management.
  • Assist with employee engagement on organizational surveys.
  • Assist with the implementation and tracking of organizational survey solutions.
  • Assist with executing the Engagement Plan and itxe2x80x99s various initiatives.
  • Assist the Talent and OD Officer to manage the communication platforms (SMS, WhatsApp, Digital Signage, B_Hive)
  • Track new hires and promotions and manage the new appointment notices (questionnaires, staff images and template)
  • Liaise with L&D with regards to the number of onboarding attendees for each month.
  • Coordinate and project manage HR/Culture/events and initiatives.
  • Act as a change agent by driving the values of our culture and DEI agenda.
  • Responsible for writing Marketing briefs for initiatives within the Engagement Plan.
  • Interface with key stakeholders to drive change and transformation in line with strategies and plans.
  • Partner with the L&D Graduate to schedule and coordinate all probations.
  • Responsible for updating the probation tracking document.
  • Responsible for conducting Production wage employee probationary discussions with the manager, supervisor and employee.
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Talent & OD Officer

Educational Requirements
  • Grade 12 with mathematics / literacy
  • A completed degree, diploma or other relevant qualification in HR/Industrial Psychology.
Required Technical and Soft Skills:
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
