Job Summary Purpose Statement Manage entire pricing function, end-to-end, to optimize value through pricing analytics and implementation Operations & General Support Maintain departmental master data which show product category pricing, revenue & cost estimates. Develop & maintain system to buying and selling of new products and pricing changes within the company and with logistics providers Develop & maintain market product Buying Catalogues Ensure pricing governance Participate in modelling long-term and medium-term pricing scenarios as needed by the department Oversee filing and safeguarding of records within area of responsibility and back up all data captured on management systems Provide relevant support to internal & external stakeholders Participate in various projects on an ad-hoc basis, such as relevant analysis and other strategic recommendations Resolve pricing claims and data integrity issues Data Analysis Propose and present product pricing options, based on deep analysis of category and market conditions Conduct data analysis to optimize product pricing Perform general data maintenance Record Management, Reporting & Presentation Develop and distribute relevant pricing reports and information to management teams to enable reliable business decision-making Create high quality, professional presentations for senior management positions People Management Be part of an engaged and motivated workforce by establishing an environment which fosters collaboration through effective communication, trust, enjoyment, wellbeing, learning and development Education required: B.Com degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification in Finance/Economics/Supply Chain Advantageous Honours or equivalent NQF level 8 qualification Experience required: 2 5 years experience in a similar role 2 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in a Supply Chain / Pricing environment Knowledge required: Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suite, applications, and Microsoft Active Directory (Advanced) Financial modelling skills (Advanced) Microsoft Office skills (Advanced) Presentation skills (Advanced) Analytics skills (Advanced) Planning skills (Advanced) Oral and written skills (Intermediate) Salary: R500 -R600kpa CTC
