Job Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Communication, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
A minimum of four (4) years' experience in social media management, communications, or digital marketing, preferably within a higher education institution or a similarly complex, multi-stakeholder environment (e.g., NGOs, large public entities).
Proven track record in growing social media engagement and managing multi-platform campaigns.
Demonstrated experience in analytics reporting and online community engagement.
Duties:
Develop and implement a comprehensive, platform-agnostic social media strategy aligned with the University's overall communication and marketing goals. Create, curate, and publish high-quality, engaging multimedia content, including compelling copy, visuals, and videos that effectively communicate the Univen brand story. Manage and grow the University's online communities by actively engaging with followers, responding to queries, and fostering a positive and inclusive digital presence. Lead the planning and execution of integrated social media campaigns in collaboration with faculties and departments to promote key initiatives and events. * Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to generate actionable insights, refine strategies, and safeguard the University's online reputation.
