We're looking for a proactive and creative Junior Social Media Manager to join our growing team. If you're passionate about digital storytelling, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to work on exciting brands, from food to interior design, this role is for you.



What you'll do

Write engaging, on-brand copy for social media posts across multiple platforms

Schedule content and manage posting calendars for multiple clients

Handle community management with professionalism

Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships

Analyse social media performance and compile monthly reports

Manage influencer relationships and coordinate deliverables

Support paid social media campaigns with basic setup and monitoring

Use Canva to create simple, visually appealing assets

While we are not office-based, we do attend infrequent in-face meetings with clients and attend client events in Cape Town, so it is important that you are based in or within driving distance of the Cape Town metropolitan area.

REQUIREMENTS

What we're looking for

1-2 years of hands-on experience in social media management

Familiarity with paid social media (Meta Business Suite)

Experience managing TikTok content (brand or personal)

Strong writing skills and a keen eye for detail

Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple client accounts

Comfortable communicating with clients and collaborating with internal teams

A team player who brings positivity and initiative to the table

Bonus:

Canva proficiency and basic design sensibility

Relevant degree/diplomo/qualification

Good people skills
