Job Description


Job Summary :

  • Ensure organizational and individual training needs are identified.
  • Compliance with legislation such as the BCEA, EEA, LRA, MIBCO Main Agreement as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Compile monthly training schedule.
  • Update training plan and other relevant training reports.
  • Ensure accurate training records are maintained.
  • Administer tertiary study loans.
  • Administer training agreements.
  • Manage employee development committee process.
  • Compile and submit Workplace Skills Plan to MERSETA.
  • Compile and submit annual training report to MERSETA.
  • Ensure maximum return on grant payments.
  • Plan and coordinate learnerships and skills programs.
  • Coordinate on the job training and classroom training to satisfy curricula.
  • Develop curricula and learning material for all positions.
  • Coordinate the development of training matrix for all departments.
  • Coordinate training initiatives to deliver on training needs.
  • Draft EE Plans/Reports.
  • Providing ad hoc Generalist HR support.
Job Requirements:
  • Grade 12 and HR related qualification
  • Approximately 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in training and development
  • Sound knowledge of South African legislation xe2x80x93 BCEA, EEA, LRA and MIBCO Main Agreement
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Good human relations skills for excellent internal customer service
  • Excellent administration skills administration including general HR administration
  • Initiative, good problem solving skills, excellent time management skills and above average communication skill
