Our client, in the Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Skills Development Coordinator to join their team, based in East London.
Duties:-
Ensure organizational and individual training needs are identified
Compliance with legislation such as the BCEA, EEA, LRA, MIBCO Main Agreement as well as internal policies and procedures
Compile monthly training schedule
Update training plan and other relevant training reports
Ensure accurate training records are maintained
Administer tertiary study loans
Administer training agreements
Manage employee development committee process
Compile and submit Workplace Skills Plan to MERSETA
Compile and submit annual training report to MERSETA
Ensure maximum return on grant payments
Plan and coordinate learnerships and skills programs
Coordinate on the job training and classroom training to satisfy curricula
Develop curricula and learning material for all positions
Coordinate the development of training matrix for all departments
Coordinate training initiatives to deliver on training needs
Draft EE Plans / Reports
Providing ad-hoc Generalist HR support
Minimum Requirements:-
Matric and HR-related qualification
Approximately 2 years' experience in training and development
Sound knowledge of South African legislation - BCEA, EEA, LRA and MIBCO Main Agreement
Advanced knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Good Human Relations skills for excellent internal customer service
Excellent Administration skills, including general HR administration
Initiative, good problem solving skills, excellent time management skills and above average communication skills
