will be responsible for carrying out the project office review and approval of the project installation and site work, as well as the sign off and on-site hand over of projects. Furthermore, the Site Coordinator will ensure that the final product / outcome observes the company's quality standards, detect and resolve problems and monitor and control the delivery of satisfactory outcomes. Should any defects be found, it's up to the Site Coordinator to apply corrective actions. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Coordinator will also be responsible for supervising building and other projects.
This function includes but is not limited to
Working with the project office in planning project requirements, bill of materials, quantities and resource requirement
Carrying out regular project site visits to report to the project office on the following
Project progress and status.
Stock delivery inspections and checks
Quality and acceptance of work completed.
Customer feedback, complaints or concerns
Adherence to project deadline and time table and completion date .
Interact with on-site installation teams, subcontractors or vendors and ensure proper understanding of scope of work and project timelines and deliverables
Attending and supervision of the installation of products and equipment in compliance with customer requirements and Plasson Standards.
Constantly noting and identifying installation deficiencies, to create a training requirement agenda (needs) for installers, technicians and sub-contractors.
Carrying out completion checklists and procedures on projects
Assisting project office and installation teams with ad-hoc tasks as may be required1
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
Prepare weekly progress reports on site activities and overall status
Direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors on site, ensuring appliance of common operational procedures
Ensure all work is completed to program and schedule
Liaise with the Project Manager regarding cost control, waste management, variations and confirmation of instructions
Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
Create and maintain good relations with clients, and all internal and external stakeholders

Pomona Office, Gauteng, and any such other locations or destinations as determined by the Employer from time to time.
