Human Resources Site Coordinator required in Cape Town.

Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's in HR, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
+2 years in HR support and coordination role
Experience in ER/IR
Experience in HRIS platforms (SAGE, BambooHR), MS Excel and document management Knowledge of South African labour laws
Familiarity with the renewable energy sector would be advantageous
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
Business-savvy with understanding of performance drivers and strategy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Skilled in policy, compliance, and framework application
Able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
Self-driven with strong accountability and follow-through
Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time management
Excellent communication skills in English, other languages advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Leadership
Assist with recruitment processes - job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding.
In collaboration with the People Partner, ensure the pre-employment phase is procedurally conducted correctly, prior to hiring and offer stage.
Work with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and effective hiring process.
Assist with induction & onboarding process for new site employees.
Coordinate probation/performance appraisal cycles, ensure timely evaluation completion
Foster positive workplace culture, addressing employee concerns on sites timeously.
Facilitate dispute resolution, warnings, disciplinary hearings, and manage grievances.
Promote a positive and productive work environment.
Coordinate professional development programs for site employees.
Promote a culture of continuous learning by supporting career development initiatives.
Conduct exit interviews & analyse feedback for continuous improvement.
Monitor workplace morale and report on employee sentiment to management.
Ensure HC practices comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Monitor (EEA, SDA, LRA, BCEA) changes, advise HCCM team of adjustments.
Assist with planning employee engagement events and surveys.
Support initiatives to foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and high performance.
Maintain and update employee records, generate HR reports, .
Use HC metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Ensure strict adherence to POPIA and internal privacy protocols. Cross?Team Synergy
Work with multi?disciplinary teams to align on People & Culture initiatives.
Provide HC support to all teams in the organization.
Up?to?date, audit?ready employee and ER records.
Maintain positive feedback for recruitment turnaround time.
