Oversee all fire protection installations, including sprinklers, fire detection, and suppression systems.
Project Coordination:
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives. Ensure that all on-site activities align with the project schedule.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to SANS codes, fire protection regulations, and health & safety standards (OHS Act).
Quality Control:
Conduct inspections, ensure quality workmanship, and resolve site issues promptly.
Staff & Subcontractor Management:
Lead site teams, assign tasks, conduct toolbox talks, and monitor daily performance.
Reporting:
Maintain daily site diaries, submit progress reports, and attend project meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience in the fire protection industry (sprinkler, suppression, and detection systems)
NQF Level 4 or higher in Mechanical, Construction, or Fire Engineering (Diploma preferred)
Proven site management experience on construction or industrial fire projects
Strong knowledge of SANS 10287 and SANS 10400-T codes
Valid driver's license and own transport
Proficient with MS Office and project reporting tools
