A dynamic company in advanced ozone sanitation for the food industry is looking for a service engineer to join their team and help with the maintenance,
repair, and installation of their equipment within the food industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial equipment, as well as strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. The candidate must also be available to attend breakdowns or do repairs and maintenance on weekends when required.

The candidate will ideally need to be based within Gauteng as they will need to attend to
clients within the Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo areas.
Given the nature of the job and the area within which the responsibilities will lie, the
candidate must be willing to stay in an area for multiple days to complete work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the company's equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and develop solutions to resolve
them.
- Conduct installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and provide technical support.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to equipment maintenance, repair, and
installation
- Train customers on how to use the company's equipment properly and safely.
- Communicate effectively with customers and he company's team members to ensure
efficient and effective resolution of issues.
- Identify spares requirements and log usage.
Candidate Requirements:
- Tertiary education, degree or diploma, in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience working with industrial equipment, preferably in the food
industry or related fields (e.g. agriculture, poultry, fish, dairy)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Available to attend breakdowns or do repairs and maintenance on weekends when
required.
- Must have own vehicle and be in possession of a valid driver's license.
- Passport for international travel is advantageous.
