Job Summary xe2x80xa2 A 3-year University of Technology Diploma in Quantity Surveyor is essential. xe2x80xa2 Professional registration with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) (Non-Negotiable) xe2x80xa2 Proficiency in the MS Office suite, and Quantity Surveying Software Packages. xe2x80xa2 A minimum of 5 years technical and practical QS skills in Mining, Minerals, Infrastructure and / Chemical sector is essential. xe2x80xa2 5 years post Pr QS registration experience xe2x80xa2 BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying xe2x80xa2 Project management qualification or experience beneficial. xe2x80xa2 Must have a valid medical certificate or must be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate. xe2x80xa2 Must have a high level of computer literacy (inclusive of specialized programmes like Datamine, Cadsmine, MicroStation, etc) xe2x80xa2 Must have good communication skills. xe2x80xa2 Must have Geological report writing skills. xe2x80xa2 Sound knowledge of the JBCC and other relevant building contracts xe2x80xa2 Sound knowledge of CIDB standards.
