Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor required for leading building contractor with multiple projects in the Northern Suburbs of Gauteng. This is an OFFICE BASED position a well groomed Intermediate to Senior QS that will require regular site visits and is best suited for a QS with firm high end residential and commercial building project experience
Must have a Quantity Surveying degree or Diploma along with a CCS Certificate
Duties required to execute:
- Assist in contractual and financial aspects of construction
- Liaise with professional team i.e. PQS, Engineers, and Architects and Client
- Costing of variations
- Preparing contract budgets and other financial documentation
- Cost control
- Preparing financial reports
- Preparing and submitting of final accounts
- Preparing monthly valuations
- Subcontract Payments
- Forecast budgets
- Preparation and agreeing to final accounts with subcontractors and Principal Agents
