We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Officer to join our HR team. This individual will play a key role in shaping and executing our people strategies, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting positive employee relations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and training & development. Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to South African Labour Law and the CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration). Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to legal requirements. Facilitate dispute resolution and manage CCMA cases from initiation through to resolution. Conduct workplace investigations into employee complaints and workplace incidents. Advise management on best practices in employee relations, employment law, and conflict resolution. Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with current labour regulations and best practices. Lead the development and implementation of employee retention and engagement strategies. Administer and manage employee benefits and payroll systems. Develop and deliver HR training programs to ensure managers and staff are well-versed in compliance with workplace laws and organizational policies. Maintain accurate records of HR-related documentation and ensure data protection.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a senior HR role, with a focus on employee relations, labour law, and compliance. In-depth knowledge of South African Labour Law, including the Labour Relations Act, BCEA, and the CCMA process. Proven track record of managing CCMA cases and resolving disputes effectively. Strong understanding of HR best practices, employee relations, and conflict resolution strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of staff. Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R14000,00 - R16000,00 per month
