Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our human resources functions, including recruitment, training, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The Human Resources Officer will play a key role in supporting the organizations objectives and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and employee handbooks
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters

Bachelors Degree / National Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
Must be professionally skilled in end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding).
Solid knowledge of Labour Law, BCEA, LRA, and HR best practices.
Experience in employee relations, HR administration, and performance management.
Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
High level of professionalism with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
Must be ethical, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Own transport and willingness to travel (if required).
