Role Purpose

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Submitting enquires to all suppliers.
• Assess the most relevant price in compliance with specifications and ISO requirements.
• Study and evaluate tender documentation.
• Complete checklist for presentation with tender.
• Ensure correct application of bills of quantities.
• Obtain and compile additional tender documentation.
• Ensure timeous submission of tenders.
• Liaison with consultants/clients with regard to tender information.
• Obtain tender outcome and complete tender result schedule.
• On conclusion of successful tender compile relevant contract documentation.
• Obtain approval of the managing director by signature of financial budgets and issue to the administration department.
• Handover of contract to projects department.
• Design of HVAC systems to accommodate client requirements and submission of budgets for same.

3. PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Very strong organizing/controlling orientation.
• Good understanding of sheet metal processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently!
• High on ethics and company dedication.
• Willingness to travel to different sites and outside of South Africa.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

• Minimum 5 years experience in Estimation in the HVAC industry in or in a similar role.
• Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree
• Understanding and knowledge of HVAC in a Construction environment.
• Very strong administrative and organizing orientation.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
