As a Senior Deal Originator, you will play a pivotal role in driving deal flow and establishing a robust pipeline of prospective insurance and financial transactions for underwriting. Your exceptional technical skills will be put to the test as you assess intricate financial transactions at an early stage to determine their bankability and commercial viability. Engaging with stakeholders such as financiers, senior government officials, corporate executives, and directors will be a crucial aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate a consistent stream of high-quality deals and ensure a strong deal pipeline
• Assess complex financial transactions and evaluate their commercial viability
• Engage with stakeholders to build relationships and drive successful outcomes
• Provide guidance and supervision to graduates and less experienced staff, when necessary

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree with specialization in a commercial or technical discipline (e.g., Economics, Accountancy, Finance, Banking, Science, Law, or Engineering)
• Minimum of 5 years' transactional experience in origination sales planning, structuring deals, project financing, corporate finance, political risk underwriting, risk management, or proven deal origination expertise in any field
• Solid understanding of international business, contractual and corporate financial practices, and accounting principles
